Belize Zoo

The Belize Zoo is home to over 150 animals, all rescued or born in captivity, including jaguars, tapirs, howler monkeys, and exotic birds. Located just off the George Price Highway, it’s an ideal stop on your way to or from the airport or western Belize.
Let us take you there comfortably and safely – we offer private transfers directly to the zoo entrance and back.

Enjoy a leisurely, educational walk through shaded trails surrounded by lush jungle as you encounter jaguars, tapirs, toucans, howler monkeys, crocodiles, and more. The zoo offers a rare opportunity to observe Belize’s most iconic species up close in a setting designed to mimic their natural environment.
Duration:
Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for your visit, not including transport time. Open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
