How long does it take to reach the islands from Belize Airport?

The private transfer from Belize International Airport (BZE) to the water taxi terminal typically takes approximately 20–30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

After boarding the ferry:

  • Caye Caulker: approximately 1 hour.
  • San Pedro: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Most ferries traveling to San Pedro make a brief stop in Caye Caulker before continuing to Ambergris Caye.

Are water taxi tickets included?

Yes. Your package includes both private airport transportation and official water taxi tickets.

All tickets are prepared before your arrival so your connection is already coordinated.

Are ferry tickets tied to a specific departure time?

No. Ferry tickets are generally open tickets.

After check-in with the ferry company, passengers may use the departure that best fits their travel plans, subject to availability.

Tickets typically remain valid for several months from the date of issue.
